The Siege of Fort Erie
This composition is representative of the Siege of Fort Erie, which took place between August and September 1814, that proved to be one of the last and most protracted engagements between British and American forces during the Niagara campaign of the War of 1812.
In the centre of the British Battalion flies the Colours of the 89th Regiment of Foot.
